The Brazil Showcase, which took place on the 19th of November 2023 in the prestigious Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin, marked the debut of a major event promoted by the Brazil-Ireland Chamber of Commerce. The key aspects of the event, from its organisation to the results achieved, are brief in this report.
The demand for tickets was so great that the 2,000 tickets were sold out two days before the event and 122 people were added to the waiting list. On the day of the event, the Smock Alley Theatre hosted 52 exhibitors from a variety of sectors, providing a comprehensive experience for the 1,300 visitors who attended during the event.Around 45 volunteers played a crucial role in the triumph of the event.
Their contributions were invaluable, ranging from preparation, planning, and execution to set-up and dismantling, exhibitor and visitor support, access control, and essential support for the performances in the venue's two theatres. Without the volunteers' unwavering commitment and dedication of the volunteers, none of this would have been possible.
